Lexie Parsons - Tourism Testimonial

Lexie Parsons should know a thing or two about the province’s natural beauty – the tourism studies student grew up in Norris Point, surrounded by Gros Morne National Park. But it wasn’t until she began the tourism studies program that she began to realize exactly how big a role Newfoundland and Labrador’s attractions really play. “Grenfell’s tourism studies program has given me a global perspective on the environment I grew up in and took for granted,” she says. “I have become more aware of its importance to our society both environmentally and economically.”

Lexie Parsons, Class of 2009
