Grenfell Career Development Services is committed to orchestrating the career development, experiential workplace learning, and employer networking needs of students and alumni. Our mission is to educate and motivate all Grenfell students and alumni to develop and take action to achieve current and future career goals.

Some services provided include:
 
Resume & cover letter building
Group sessions delivered throughout the semester as well as one-on-one individuals sessions on an ongoing basis.   
 
Be Your Own Boss
 Delivered in partnership with Navigate.  This session connects students who have an interest in starting their own business with Grenfell’s ‘gateway’ service.
 
H.I.R.E.D.  Interview Skills Bootcamp
A means of attaining a great deal of interview skills in a short period of time.  This round-robin style interview has the student asked interview questions by a panel of seven interviewers in seven different rooms.
 
Career Cafes
This is employer driven.  Employers wishing to hire students and graduates set-up on campus to deliver information sessions about working with their organizations
 
Brown Bag Lunch Series
Professionals speak about what life is like working in their particular career field.
 
A.C.C.E.S.S. Mentorship Program
The Grenfell A.C.C.E.S.S. Mentoring Program is designed to create opportunities for students explore their occupational options. Students are connected with committed professionals in the workplace to gain firsthand knowledge and experience in a field of interest. Mentors can share information about their occupations and offer practical career related experience and advice. This program will bridge the gap between education and the workforce.
