We are always looking for hard-working, self-motivated graduate students or undergraduate research assistants to join in our exciting research group.
If you are interested in our research program and considering to join in our team, you are always welcome to send a cover letter, a brief research interest statement, resume, unofficial transcript to Dr. Wu (
jwu@grenfell.mun.ca) for review. You may develop your research projects under my funded research program, or you may bring your own research projects, as long as they fit into my research program.
Dr. Wu will support graduate students' research through his research funding, and if available, support graduate students' stipend through research assistantships. You are always welcome to bring your own funding support to conduct research under Dr. Wu's research program. We will update the funding opportunities for graduate studies once they are available!
Current New Opportunities for 2013
Dr. Wu is currently looking for two hard-working, self-motivated graduate students (M.Sc. or Ph.D.) to examine the effects of agricultural drainage on greenhouse gas emissions and carbon balances of boreal peatlands. A background in hydrology, soil science, micrometeorology, ecohydrology, terrestrial biogeochemistry, and/or hydroclimatology is required.
