There are 120 credit hours required for the SRM degree as follows:

A: Core Courses (80 credit hours)

  1. Biology 1001, 1002, 2600
  2. Chemistry 1200 and 1001, or equivalent
  3. Economics 2010
  4. Environmental Studies 2000, 3000, 3001, 4000
  5. Geography 1050, 2425
  6. Sustainable Resource Management 2000, 2001, 3000, 3001, 3002, 4000, 4001, 4002 or 4003, 4010, 4950
  7. One of Philosophy 2809, Religious Studies 3880, Political Science 3550
  8. Two of Environmental Science 2371, Biology 2010, Biology 2122, Biology 2210.
  9. Statistics 2500
  10. One of Environmental Science 3072, 3110, 3130, 3131, 4132, Earth Science 3811.

B: 6 credit hours in first-year English.

C: 36 credit hours in elective courses.

Note: A total of 40 courses constitute the total of 120 credit hours. When selecting these courses, students are reminded that Core Requirements for a Grenfell College degree program (Clause 4) must be met.
