    Areas of Interests: Dr. Buckle's area of speciality is Clinical Psychology. Within that domain, she is specifically interested in grief and trauma. She has recently conducted research into the impact of parental bereavement on parenting surviving children. As an extension of her work in this area, she is currently conducting research into compassion fatigue and secondary traumatization. She is also interested in the study of problem gambling.

    Areas of Interests: Dr. Corbin Dwyer had held a SSHRC grant for her research on graduate women's experiences; SSHRC and Atlantic Metropolis grants for her work on transracial adoption; and CIHR grants for work related to women problem gamblers. She has co-authored articles on qualitative research methodology and on teaching approaches.

    Areas of Interests: Dr. Duffy's interests include children's development, cognition, and emotion. He has recently conducted research into the relationship between gender and mathematical attitudes and performance. He is also interested in the effects of early intervention on the academic performance of disadvantaged children.

    Areas of Interests: Dr. Krachun is interested in animal behavior and cognition, evolutionary psychology, and animal-human interaction. Her research has focused on social cognition in chimpanzees, in particular on what these apes understand about their own and others’ mental states. She is also currently investigating property-owners’ attitudes towards tenants with pets.

    Areas of Interests: Dr. Stewart's main area of research is in the field of cognitive neuroscience utilizing both ERP and MRI technologies to examine human performance monitoring. He is currently conducting research into the differences between people's explicit and implicit attitudes of rural and urban lifestyles. Generally, he is interested in human perception and cognition with specific interests including the interaction between video game playing and cognition, peak performance (athletic and academic), and gambling behaviour.

    Areas of Interests: Dr. Wright's interests include behavioral neuroscience, animal learning, animal behavior, and evolutionary psychology. She has recently conducted research on how diet affects behavioral recovery from stroke using a rat model. She is also interested in spatial cognition in rodents.
