Once you have completed your initial registration you may make changes. Most changes can be made through Memorial Self-Service or the Telephone Registration System. Please ensure you know the deadlines for dropping and/or adding courses each semester.
A co-requisite is a course that must be taken concurrently with, or successfully completed prior to, another course (e.g. Math 1000 is a co-requisite for Physics 1050). If you wish to change sections for a co-requisite, add the new section before dropping the old; otherwise you will become deregistered in the course which requires the co-requisite.
In cases where the system will not let you drop or add, you must complete a course change form, which can be found in the Registrar's Office, Grenfell Campus, room AS277.
Note:
- Changes in registration are not official unless you complete the drop-and-add process.
- Before changing your courses, you should consult with an academic advisor.
- If you register for courses, but decide not to attend Memorial University, financial and academic penalties for those courses will be incurred unless they are officially dropped before the corresponding deadlines.
