Newfoundland, Canada’s most easterly province, is accessible by both ferry and airline transportation.
Corner Brook is a 40 minute drive from the nearest airport, Deer Lake Regional (YDF) and about 50 minutes from Stephenville Airport (YJT).
Deer Lake Airport is serviced from mainland Canada by Air Canada (year round), Westjet (May-October), Sunwing Airlines and Canada North. Deer Lake Airport is also serviced provincially by Air Labrador and Provincial Airlines.
Stephenville Airport is serviced seasonally from the mainland by Sunwing Airlines and provincially by Provincial Airlines.
Grenfell Campus offers a free airport pick-up service to all students new to our campus. If you require transportation from the Deer Lake or Stephenville airport, please forward your flight information to the Registrar’s Office
and a Grenfell representative will personally meet you at the airport.

Ferry Services operated by Marine Atlantic travel across the Gulf of St. Lawrence on a daily basis. The ferry originates in North Sydney, NS and lands in Newfoundland at Port aux Basques, a 2.5 hour drive from Corner Brook along the Trans Canada Highway.
