He is concerned as well with the distinctions between intellectual epochs: Ancient, Medieval, Renaissance, Modern and Post-Modern. He is on the editorial board of Animus: A Philosophical Journal for our Time and is co-editor of Philosophy and Freedom: the Legacy of James Doull (Toronto: University of Toronto Press, 2003). |  |

He is more broadly concerned with the tradition of philosophical theology in general and its relation to the symbolic, poetic and erotic dimensions of experience. Dr. Wills is currently working on the role of myth and imagery in Plato’s Phaedo and is writing on the role of imaginative representation in religious belief. |  |
