Western Regional School of Nursing is connected by a skywalk to Western Memorial Regional Hospital, where students will receive hands-on clinical experience in a variety of settings, from pediatrics and neonatal care to operating room and intensive care experiences.

Is Nursing for you?

Nurses play a vital role in the health care system. They practice in a variety of settings as direct care givers, teachers, counselors, advocates, coordinators of care, and members of a professional organization. Western Regional School of Nursing is innovative in developing partnerships within the nursing school, hospital and throughout the community. Student opinions are valued and students are invited to participate as members of school committees and the nursing Society, which is integral to the development of leadership skills.
