The original school crest was designed by Katherine Wells Daley, the school’s first Director of Nursing Education, and was based on the crest of the City of Corner Brook
The school’s colors, blue and green, symbolize the distinct features of the west coast region, the green forests and the waters of the Humber Arm. The golden edge about the pin signifies precious memories that bind us together in friendship and fellowship. The lamp symbolizes nursing and knowledge. In 1996, the name of the crest was slightly modified to reflect the changing structure of the School.
