Kick off your mornings with fresh, free coffee during I ♥ Grenfell week. Java will flow at the following locations throughout the week:

Grenfell Carnival
Official Launch and Parade of Flags

Share your Grenfell spirit during the Grenfell Carnival with games, information booths and activities. I ♥ Grenfell 2013 will officially launch with guest speakers and a Parade of Flags representing the cultural diversity of Grenfell’s students.

Keep Calm and Yoga On …

Western Regional School of Nursing’s Keep Calm and Yoga On event is all about caring for the mind, body and soul with a free yoga session, information on stress busting, and tips for healthy eating on a student budget. We’re keeping it sweet with smoothies and fruit lollipops.

Campus Dash & BBQ

Walk or run to Grenfell to participate in the annual Campus Dash and BBQ. Dash through the beautiful fall foliage of the Kinsmen Participark on a 1-km walk or 2-km run, then join us back on campus for a BBQ to celebrate when you cross the finish line.

Zumba

Zumba is a fun, fast-paced workout. Whether you’re a diehard fan or ready to give Zumba a try for the first time, join us for a free session. You could win a five-day pass to the Humber YMCA.

Costume Mixer

Munchies, music, team games, prizes – and you get to dress up like a zombie too! What’s not to ♥? Open to students, faculty and staff. Prizes for winning teams.

International Night

International Night is a showcase of the many nationalities and cultures that make up the Grenfell community. Meet students, faculty and staff from other nations, sample different cuisines, view artwork, and enjoy music from other countries.

Bonne Bay Adventure

What’s more beautiful than Bonne Bay in the fall? Take a trip to Norris Point with us for a tour of the Bonne Bay Marine Station, (http://www.bonnebay.mun.ca/) a hike on the Burnt Hill Trail (http://www.norrispoint.ca/attractions.html).

The Bonne Bay Marine Station is operated by Memorial University of Newfoundland and the Gros Morne Co-operating Association. The station offers students a premiere learning environment and researchers a first-rate facility for marine ecosystem research.

Burnt Hill Trail is located at the Norris Point Waterfront at the end of Stone’s Lane. The 260-foot hill is known as Neddy Hill, Big Hill and Burnt Hill. This trail offers a spectacular view of the Town of Norris Point and area. For more information on the trail and the Town of Norris Point, visit (http://www.norrispoint.ca/attractions.html).

Fee: $10 for students/$15 for faculty and staff covers the cost of bus transportation to and from Norris Point, and lunch.
