Discount/Refund Policies 
Seniors Discount 
We offer a 10 per cent discount to persons 60 years of age and over. Please identify yourself as a senior when you register. This does not apply to the Seniors in Action class. 

Refund Policy for Seminars
If you withdraw from a seminar you must inform Community Education & College Relations two business days in advance of the seminar start date. You will be refunded your fee less a 10 per cent administration fee. After this period fees will not be refunded except for documented medical reasons, however substitutions will be accepted. 

Refund Policy for General Interest Courses / Recreational Programs
If you withdraw from a course you must inform the Community Education & College Relations office two business days in advance of the course start date. If you withdraw before the second class of a course, you will be refunded your fee less 10 per cent. If you withdraw after the second class you will receive no refund except in case of illness (with a Doctor's note), bereavement or any other acceptable cause. You are required to produce supporting documents to be considered for a refund. In such cases, refunds will be issued on a prorated basis from the date notification is made to the Community Education & College Relations office.

Some courses include a textbook in the fee. If you withdraw from a course after you have received a text, the cost of the text will be withheld from your refund.

Refund Policy for Swimming Lessons
Refunds will be issued for swimming lessons if you withdraw before the second class and will be subject to a $5.00 administration charge. After the second class, refunds will be issued for certified medical reasons only, prorated from the date notification is made to the Community Education & College Relations office. 

Refund Policy - Management Development
Refunds will be issued (less 10 per cent) for cancellations up to five (5) business days prior to the first day of the seminar. After this period, fees will not be refunded except for documented medical reasons, however substitutions will be accepted.
Community Education & College Relations reserves the right to cancel seminars / courses due to insufficient enrollment. You will be notified of cancellation at least five (5) days prior to the first day of the seminar, or two (2) days prior to the first day of a course. All fees will be refunded in full or may be applied to another seminar/course.
