Minor in Philosophy
The philosophy minor at Grenfell is rooted in the history of philosophy. Students must complete eight philosophy courses, three required and five elective. The required courses are:
Philosophy 2701 (The History of Ancient Philosophy),
Philosophy, 2702 (The History of Modern Philosophy) and
Any Major Author's course.
Major Author's courses are offered at least once every two years and as the name suggests focus on the work of a single author, e.g., Plato, Kant, or Nietzsche. If you are interested in the philosophy minor, please contact Dr. David Peddle.
