GRENFELL ALUMNI AFFAIRS & DEVELOPMENT

SERVICES - ON CAMPUS SERVICES

LIBRARY SERVICES

Grenfell Campus Alumni are eligible to borrow books from the Ferriss Hodgett Library and all MUN libraries. Your Alumni Card serves as your library card.

Alumni

An "alumnus" is someone who has completed at least one course at Memorial University.

Borrowing (637-6267)

Alumni are eligible to borrow books from any of the MUN Libraries. Your Alumni Card, which you can obtain in the Library, serves as your library card.

Alumni may borrow books for 2 weeks and must check the material out in person. Books may be renewed online or by contacting the library, unless someone else has placed a HOLD on them. Books may be recalled at any time if requested by another patron or if needed for Reserves. Please note that books may be returned through the book drop when the library is closed.

Document Delivery (637-6200 ext. 6271)

Books and articles not at the Ferriss Hodgett Library can be obtained from other libraries. All costs are passed on to alumni. To make a Document Delivery request, please contact the library.

Online Journals

Alumni can access the online journal collection using one of the four Reference Area computers. Alumni are not able to print or email journal articles. However, library staff will print articles upon request to a maximum of 5 articles, and at a cost of 20 cents per page.

Photocopying

There are 2 coin-operated photocopiers available on the main level of the Library. Photocopy costs are 10 cents per copy. Copies from Microforms are available from the Circulation Desk at a cost of 20 cents per copy. Save money and the environment: Ask Library staff how you can scan your item and email a paperless e-copy to yourself for FREE.

MUN is committed to compliance with copyright laws, and all copying should comply with the Copyright Act.

The Aquatic Classes include the Red Cross Preschool, Kids, Teens & Adult programs, and private or semi-private lessons. We also offer advanced aquatic leadership courses, including lifesaving, life guard training, and water safety instructing.

We offer a wide variety of Health and Wellness Programs throughout the day, including an early bird and evening swim, a recreational swim, various aquacise programs, and activities exclusively formatted for seniors.
