Theatre Program: Stagecraft/Design Position
The Theatre Program at Sir Wilfred Grenfell College invites applications for one 4-month teaching term appointment in Stagecraft/Design starting January 1 and ending April 30, 2011.
The successful candidate will possess an MFA degree, or equivalent combination of professional experience, training and education, and demonstrate significant professional theatrical experience in stagecraft/design as well as having taught at the undergraduate level. The successful candidate will be required to teach props across three years of stagecraft courses, textile/dyeing/breakdown at 2nd year level and a Production Stagecraft course. This candidate will also design elements (set, costume and/or lighting) for one or two productions.

Visual Arts Program: Foundation 3-Dimensional Design/Drawing Position
The Visual Arts Program at Sir Wilfred Grenfell College invites applications for one 4-month teaching term appointment starting January 1 and ending April 30, 2011. Applicants should be able to teach Foundation Three-Dimensional Design and Second Year Drawing in a Fine Arts context within a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree program.
Undergraduate teaching experience, working knowledge of traditional methods, contemporary issues and practices, historical knowledge and safe studio practices are essential. M.F.A. or equivalent combination of professional experience, training and education required. The ability to supervise fourth year students on individual basis would be a benefit.
