Janeway BBQ Fundraiser

Approximately $4700 was raised during the Janeway Jam and Silent Auction during the winter semester, and now organizers want to top top it up to $5000 before the Janeway Telethon on June 1 and 2. To that end, a Janeway BBQ Fundraiser will be held Wednesday, May 22, Noon-2:30 pm at the GCSU Backlot. The GCSU is looking for volunteers to assist with the event and or organize their own fundraising activities to help us reach and surpass the $5000 mark! Interested in gardening?

The Grenfell Campus Community Garden currently has plots available to the Grenfell community. It’s a great opportunity to meet fellow colleagues, learn about gardening or simply get some fresh air! Ten plots are currently available to the campus community, with plans for further expansion and plots for public use this summer. You can apply for a plot yourself or you can have up to four persons per plot. Can’t find anyone to join? No problem! We can put you with a group of people who are also applying. If you are interested in starting a vegetable garden please complete the attached application and submit it to mail box 83 by 4 pm, May 24, 2013.
